Hey Guys, Helping a buddy with a street car and wanting to put a bung in the exhaust for tuning.
Dual exhaust with a crossover pipe and he was asking if it can be installed in the crossover pipe??
This is going to be a one time deal and will be removing my LM1 after we get it tuned and installing a plug..

I think that location will work. On some of the first Ford pick-ups that used O2s they had a small pipe that was about 1" in diameter and just a couple of inches long that connected the front exhaust pipes together that had the O2 in the middle of it. That said I would prefer putting it in one of the down pipes as closed to the engine as possible. I'm not confident the sample in the balance tube would be as good.

That would be my concern as well. I'd put it somewhere near the collector or in one of the corner primary tubes if it's got a single plane intake. If it doesn't have headers then I'd put it in the down pipe like Chuck suggested.
