But I have seen below zero F temps here in the past. Not my favorite time of the year for sure. Oh, and glad to see at least a few ppl are alive and well!

Or, you could get a USB data card to use on the road if you really want to have internet while you're gone. I use one of those for my home network as it's the only thing I can get besides dialup.

Hey Greg! It's been slow on here for about the last week. I guess ppl are getting ready for Christmas and stuff and don't have much time to hang out here. I guess I need to get a life as I spend too much time here.

Ken, I only stop at truckstops long enough to fuel, shower, and eat supper. I am now on a dedicated run. From the one pier in Philly to the Cleveland area and back. I try to sleep at the customer. In cleveland I found some free wifi, but it gets turns off after 7 pm. This past week was the first time that I had the laptop with me. I will look for more spots this week. Bob J

I check in daily but dont say much. I have noticed that it goes dead here occasionally. I always try to figure out why. I think it is because there are so many other things to do as well. Gone racing or a big sports weekend, etc. I for one have been busy wrapping up the end of the semester at school (I teach)and spending time with family. Christmas activities. After Christmas I really need to get back to work on the Fiat. I will be at the track in April. Thats early for us. Of course I have a week of cleaning the shop so I can find the car and parts!

Holidays have been busy with work, trying to get my land cleared for a building, picking up a flowbench... and finally running my car for the first time since my surgery!!! Best pass was a 7.569 @ 174.59, 1.065 60 ft!!! Last pass might have been better if the track had been up to it down track, 60' was a 1.056... Humidity was up a bit, and dew settling in, lost the second round, took the stripe by .0125, .007 under. If I had left my dial in down .01... ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)

Been a little busy and somewhat distracted. The guy that had been with me for the last 6 years quit and I have been training a new guy. He's young guy and needs some attention but he has potential. Eddy's (my pit crew) wife is losing her battle with pancreatic cancer. She's under hospice care now and they told Eddy he might want to move their Christmas plans up. My heart is heavy for my friend and his wife has been braver than what I think I could be through something like this. My wife's aunt passed a few weeks ago from the same cancer. She was very close to my wife, like a 2nd mom. She died a week after they diagnosed her and that was so sudden I don't know if it's really set in yet and her husband seems to be in a bit of a daze since it happened. We are working on "fixing up" my wife's mom's house so we can sell or rent it. She passed away 4 years ago and the time has come that we have to do something with it.
On a positive note we hit a milestone this week. The 15th of this month marked 30 years since I opened the business. That came a couple of weeks after we received "The Best of Bullitt County" reader's survey for automotive repair for the 2nd year in a row.
