Been building a new shop (40' X 63' - 14' tall sidewalls) for the last several months. Just thought I'd share the progress here as well. To get you guys up to speed here is a thread on another forum that you can check out. LOTS of pictures! This week hopefully the exterior will be complete. I know alot of car guys can appreciate whats going on here.

Very nice job!!!!!!! I read the whole post over there... Must be nice not to hit any huge rocks or a rock ledge when digging :- ... I never built a shop but friends that have all say the same thing...."Should have made it bigger O:) ....Along with heat I would also figure in some ac since you only have 2 windows and none where you are going to do most of your work...Looks like it gets hot out there...
Again great job and will be worth it in the end for sure and looks like the end is near!!!!!!!!

Thanks its been a rough road but I keep telling myself it will be worth it in the end. I will be happy for move in day to get all of my equipment in there and hopefully soon down the road make a few more purchases to get some needed equipment. Just nice to have everything in one spot and not be spread between 3 places like I've been dealing with for quite some time. Goal is to become 100% in house!

Nice looking shop, should be a great place to work.

Are you renting a place for your business now and will move the business into this shop at your house?

I've always operated it out of the house and a friends shop (space to the side for some equipment). I grew to quick for my space so I had to spread out over the past 3 years. I'm glad to finally have everything at one location, have temperature control, and get more organized. Always just did what I needed to get by and now finally have the opportunity for this.
