Just dropped by to say Hello from the UK.

Were still here, currently leading the Supercharged outlaws Series in Vic's Digger, 7.54 @194 best this year.

Altered is sitting in the shop, needs a few bits doing to get it out.

We are coming over to California for the CHRR and then on to Vegas for the NHRA meet from the middle of October for 3 weeks..

other than that it's stil the same old same old..

Hope everyones well..

Cheers

Sam

Say guys, look what the cat drug in? O:) =; I see he finds his way home about twice a year, hey.

So tell me Sam, do you EVER plan to run that altered again? :-k How much will it take to get it ready to race? :-k

Vegas? Isn't that where the Mustang Ranch is, or was? O:) But then again, I guess being from Europe/GB, whore houses aren't anything special to you guys. ;-)

Good to see ya! Stop in more often! \:D/

OK OK, so I should call in a bit more often, But .... nothing I should call in a bit more often..

shop is done, well its as done as its ever going to be.

Altered did a few runs last year on the alky injection, nothing to shout about, it was on one at one meet until it shifted and near on turned it over.

second in the Supercharged outlaws last year with Vic's digger..

Altered ran a couple of bearings and rods at the end of the year, new rotating assembly is here just waiting to assemble it..

last year was really busy work wise for me I spent about 2 months over there, mainly in detroit... id did do a bit of a tour tho, london to amsterdam to detroit on to nashville to catch up with Duane, on to dallas and then to phoenix and back to london via detroit again... Lindsey and I plus vic and a few friends went to the CHRR in october and on to Vegas for the NHRA meeting. then again in december I was back out in detroit again for 2 weeks, nipped down to Ohio and had a a tour round the callies factory which was interesting..

This year just as work was lightening up I got transferred to another job, (same type of work different vehicle line) which has been all I have been doing for the last 3 months, busy for an old guy.. walking about 15 miles a day on average just round the site..

My youngest daughter recently got married and I became a grandfather for the second time about 2 months ago.

I managed to find a couple of tall deck 4 bolt mains at a reasonable price and shipped them over here, so I'm looking to build one of those up into a carbed engine for the altered, its a fun ride then.

I just about have all the parts to make the KB into a blown engine, just need some aluminium rods and some pulleys and a belt.. I buy something now and again so have a good collection of parts kicking around.

http://www.facebook.com/groups/274490289312657/ is the speeddemon page if anyone wants to look.

I'll try and call in a bit more often... honest..
