These three items are worn beyond service life and will be replaced. Let me hear what some of you are using and receiving good service from.

*Cold cutting miter saw, 14" blade.

*Metal cutting band saw, my first choice is an upright floor model with large cutting table.

*Portable hand held band saw.

i have a dewalt 14" dry cut saw with a 77 carbide tooth blade that has been trouble free for several years,i sharpen the blade every two years

my bandsaw is crap,it is hard to find one that keeps the blade straight and square,i use it very little......the dry cut does the same work in seconds

my personal favorite hand bandsaw is a porter cable,it balances better than others for me,the dewalt is the same style but i dont know how well they hold up
