I gotta tell you guys, if you are thinking of installing a power chip in your Ford Truck, go for it!!!
I installed a TS 5 position chip last week and my truck has soooooooooo much power it isn't funny! \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ I have it on the 75hp level and this thing just up and takes off almost like my Elky and only poors out a little black smoke! =D> I am soo happy with it.

I also changed out my stock air filter kit with a new ASI Ford Motorcraft filter kit(still inclosed) but with much more filter area to draw more air in. Took about an hour plus cleaned both sets of batt. terminals and cable ends too :-$

This truck has so much power that I am tickeled to death over it. =; It really pins you in the seat when you throttle into it. I now need to install a pyrometer gauge kit and a boost gauge in it to monitor things while towning, and I can't wait to tow again and see how the mileage changes. Come on $5. a gal. =; :-# 8-[ #-o

I think, I can just about outrun anything next to me, and if not, I just click the knob and 140 more ponies show up out back =; Anyone wanna race????????
I will try and get my GoPro camera in it and see how that shows up, simply cool power. Ok, I'm done. :-$

If this is in the wrong section Ken, sorry =P~

FYI on hopping up your truck! I've done this to the Cummins in my Dodge. The result has been one broken transmission, one 5th gear nut pushed off the output shaft and one broken Dana 70 rear gear set! O:)

I guess Dodge under-engineered their driveline. My powerstroke has been chipped since it had 60K on it and at 251k none of the driveline including the E4OD transmission has had any problems, it's all still original. Can you say Ford built tough?

Nah, I didn't think you could 8-[

I guess that "Power Choke" just can't make enough power to break anything! O:) =; I guess that's not a bad thing though. ;-)

Last of the 7.3, 2003 6 spd. manual. I changed the rear gear from a 4.10 to a 3.73 a few years back to get better mileage, and so far it worked. New locker diff too \:D/ I just need th do the front axle now and it will be ready for snow next year. Let me see if I have a pic of the truck.

I wish I could find taller tires for it too. I need to see if there are new tires made that are taller.

Ken, I used to test the axle's in the Dodge rams and they really didn't hold up to much power very well. We found that the helical diff gears were junk and would spall, fracture and just flat out break! O:) these were the model years from 1999 to 2006. I am betting your's is a little older :-k Sorry to hear about about your damage too. =P~ #-o

Stop it and be nice [-X =; =;

Not sure Steve, I need to get some gauges to monitor things and then I can tell. I need to check the calibration with the rear gear change vs the speed to see if they both jive together. The chip company say's it will increase the mileage and so far, it looks good from my stock monitor gauge in the roof. \:D/ I really can't go with a lower numbered gear, the 3.73 is as low I can go effeciently, or so the gear shop told me! :-

It would be nice to run 70mph again and not loose my butt on fuel mileage ](*,)
