Steve, In this run it looks like it does not wheeleeee like the other runs..Is that cause you didn't get the RPM's up on the starting line or maybe it's just the added weight on the left side ;-) =; =; \:D/ \:D/ ..
Overall looks like you guys are ready....Nice job!!!!!!!!

I think that's because Big Daddy was drivin and didn't get a great burnout! :-# :-s 8-[ \:D/

Overall guys the wagon is launching real nice, and only one thing I noticed on the launch and on the way down range is that the front end is juuuuust a little high, and so was Andy's car. You might want to try to limit the rise on the front end a little more and see how that works. If you tighten up the extension, it may take out some lift though!!!!jmo...

You guys did A GREAT JOB on the front suspension and it shows, way to go =D> , and I am so jealous we can't run up here in Mi. yet... We may have to make a trip south and visit yall =;

That track sure does look nice with the sun on it and no rain!!! \:D/ What were your 60 ftrs' Steve?

Bad burn out, not at the right launch RPM, Spun a little off the line, and about 70 extra pounds :- =; It was a blast. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Thanks Webmaniac \:D/ \:D/

Breakfast was ready. LOL

We are thinking of cutting a coil but not right now. We will play with the shocks first. Right now they are 90/10 may try the 80/20 then 60/40. That is one thing that I told Jake if we change it may not come up so high. That could be a good thing. If you noticed in his first run (Sue's Video) it bounced like a basket ball cause it was crossed up. The last run in Sue's video (use the pause button) you can see how high it comes off the ground on the first bounce.

It was 70's Friday and tornado's, mid 50's and windy yesterday. 30's tonight and a winter weather advisory up 3" of snow possible. [-( [-(

Remember we were running into a 10-15 MPH headwind all day. Gusts a little higher.

First 2 runs Jake just wanted to go 1/8 mile. 1.540, 1.541 Then third run he came up more on the converter 1.510 then last run 1.535. Better burn out. With the new brakes they didn't seat yet so he didn't have good burnouts. They also didn't have a lot of water in the water box. My 60 was 1.640, I was barely at 2K we normally leave at 2500.

It's all good Steve, I figured you were digging for time slips, and got sidetracked, which you did, (FOOD) =; \:D/ \:D/
Sounds like your on the right path for sure Steve, I also have to slow down my bounce too! I was going to do a bumpsteer test, but I am going to a rack & pinion later this year in the off season, so I will adj. as needed for this year.

I hope you don't get too bad of weather down there #-o stinks having a good day, and then the next too get worse! ](*,) At least you made some laps this year. Your almost ready. You goin gto FLA. for the first race??

Stay warm!, I am going to get another propane bottle right now and hit the garage, got some small things to do on the clunker still, hope I can find the motivation in this cold!!! :-

Say hi to Jake and Sue for us, and be well.

John

Lookin' good Steve. So how do the incrementals compare with how the car ran before the front end changes?

Kind of hard to tell chuck with the head winds. The way the air was we should have been faster. I put the 35 squirters on it may have been too much. So the 60's were a little slower. Over all I think it will be better.

I see parts of Kentucky got hit pretty hard with tornado's =P~ poor people, and now it got cold and snowed again!!!! :-
I think we all are in for a wierd summer this year, and time will tell how the heat and humidity plays out too. Sue hope the summer is bearable to race in. Stay as safe as possible you all ;-)

snow stayed north of us. Hate it for the tornado victims they got the bulk of it.
