Is that the discipline called bracket racing?

Pardon my ignorance.

Actually it is index racing. NMCA Nostalgia Super Stock , Nostalgia Muscle car, and late model EFI run indexs. Muscle car starts at AA-10.00, A-10.50, B-11.00, C-11.50..... Super Stock I think starts at FX or AA -9.00. Same idea as bracket only you can't change your index all weekend it once you register. Where in bracket racing you can change your dial before each run to adjust to weather conditions and previous run data.

We use a plate but not ez plate. :-# That came out after I got the one I use. #-o Mine has removable inserts in a four hole plate. it goes from 1.400, 1.350, 1.300 1.250. More people are using the ez plate now. Both are great investments for index racing.
