This year I will be upgrading the trans, rear end and rear suspension...

BTE (Dendenbear) Aftermarket Case with Liner...Done.
Deep Aluminum Trans Pan + 2 quarts...Done
PTC 8" Steel Stator Converter...Sent off to get tightened up

Still to go

9" FORD rear end Housing with new GM housing ends
Strange Pro Nodular 3rd Member 4.86 Pro Gears 33-spline spool
4-Link rear frame section (Frame Kit)
AFCO Double Adjustable Rear Shocks
Billet Specialties Street Lite Wheels 15x12
Hoosier 29.5x11.5W tire (measures 30x13.5) Stiff Sidewall

Hopefully these upgrades will keep it hooked and hopefully see some lower ET's.
Will post up some pics as it goes along...

Sounds good. So getting rid if the ladder bars? ;-) Good luck with the changes. We are putting TRZ upper and lower A frames and Aerospace pro street brakes on the front. It should knock about 100* off.

It also has the travel adjusters. I ddoubt I'll use them though. ;-)

How loose is your converter now?? Stall speed??
Remember loose is always constant..Tight is faster but
not nearly constant as loose.. =;

Hey Barry I tried the converter out for 1 weekend. It went to 6300 off the chip.
It was crossing the stripe at 7300 which is too loose for my engine now.
So I talked to PTC and they was telling me what they normally run in an 8" application
like mine. We will see what it ends up at. I told them I thought maybe 5000-5500
My current 9.5 converter goes to 5600.
