Steve is correct, a shallow stage will give a quicker ET than a deep stage. The faster the car is off the line, the less difference it will make. There is only a few hundredths at most between 2 stages with pre-stage still lit.

A shallow stage will basically give you a running start and a quicker ET and more mph.

At the last NMCA race Bill lutz was staging in hopes of being the first in the 5's with his twin turbo camaro. When he staged the car jumped in pretty hard. almost deep staged and ran a 6.01 I think if he bumped it in easy he would have done it. But hold that much power back while it is spooling up is hard. The last round of qualifying he got into the 5's but after Chris Rini did it the run ahead of him. #-o

=D> Way to go Barry.... keep plugging away and you'll get both your numbers on the same slip.

Gotta make the trip to watch this, only 1/2 hr. ride. With the traction we have at Atco and the better weather, should be a piece of cake.
