Hey All,
I just want to know if the way I have been figuring up my timeslips is correct.. Here is how I do it..
I run a 6.601 on a 6.60 dial in with a .010 light it would be a .011 package
2nd example I dial a 6.60 run a 6.607 with a .019 light it would be a .026 package... Am I looney or correct?..There has been a little controversey
over this. Thanks :-k

Jody, Yes that is exactly correct as Duane said,

Carl, it tells you basically how good of a bracket racing pass you had overall.

Your package is the total WINdow you left for someone to beat you.

Yep, that's exactly how you figure it.
Carl this is how you determine the margin of victory. The closer you are to a "perfect" run the better your chance of winning. I lost a race earlier this year where I had a .021 light to my opponent's .017. I dialed a 5.56 and ran a 5.566 he ran a 6.779 on a 6.77 dial. My package was .027 his was .026.

At us60 they have a one round gambler's race during the last time run. everyone that wants in pays 5 bucks. you dial your car for the last time shot, and add your rt to it whoever has the best package gets the pot.

chuck it's called "run for the money" around here.
last year at the big huntsville footbrake race the pot was $600+.
i cut a .502 light & went 7.109 on a 7.11.
i HATE it when that happens. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

I know what you mean, last time a got close to it I had it in the bag with a .010 package until the last pair went down the track. One of them came up with a .009.

we call it "dialing for dollars" . they don't change the pot size, 50 to win 25 to runner up. 5 dollar entry. they do anywhere from 1-3 of these before elims. they push tt through so they can run the crap outta these. [-(
