You got him right here. O:) Maybe you just weren't looking hard enough! O:) The damn spammers find us easy enough. :-k

I'm going to have to mod the software to try to eliminate those Email Spam Bots that are causing all the problems. I've run up on a guy that has experience in php coding that is helping with that so hopefully I won't "hork" it up. =; I'm going to modify the registration code to keep the bots from being able to read it. Wish me luck! \:D/

Steppenwolf and Deep Purple was about as hard as it ever got for me which at the time was pretty heavy stuff. Got into some weird s**t with the Doors and Jim Morrison. Morrison was a genius with his songwriting but talk about a F'd up individual...that dude wasted a lot of brain cells and then wasted his life.

But my WVa roots always took me back to bluegrass. Nothing like good clean pickin. And by "clean" I mean the notes ring and are not muffled by the fingers coming off the frets. I played guitar in a band when I was in high school. We played all the pop stuff of the time. Playing good bluegrass was always more of a challenge to me.

And ... Ronnie James who ????? Black Sabbath is never the same w/o Ozzy ....... J/K, I did like the H & H album ...... but will always consider the original members as Black Sabbath. And everything else was just a temporary gig.

What are your thoughts on Van Halen? Sammy or David?

The honest truth is both(Van Halen/Sabbath) the sounds of the vocals were so far apart. As far as singers go Ronnie can by far out sing Ozzy. Both are good in my opinion. \:D/ \:D/

Over the years I have played the guitar, banjo, and dobro. The guitar is like riding a bicycle. You may get a little rusty but you don't forget how. With all this racing stuff tho, I haven't played in a couple of years.

Outside of the bluegrass, my collection in those days included CCR, Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, and the Doobie Brothers.

Speaking of "Doobie", anyone got one to pass around? O:) Just kidding! =; Dylan was another waste of good brain cells like Joplin, Hendrix, etc only Dylan lived to talk about it. Always, liked "most" of Clapton and a couple of others that were in "Cream" but like many other groups of that era, egos and money got in the way and they fell by the wayside.

Speaking of which, let's move this to the BS section, hey!
