Thanks to Ken for welcoming me to MSV. Love the site. Lots of good tech. info. Hello to all from Middle Tennessee. Three Fords. Two Big blocks, one bad small block. Beech Bend is our home track. Tow vehicle 2002 lifted F250 V10.

We've got a couple of Phord guys here but not many. Gearhead is probably the "senior" Phord member and has been with us here since this board was started. The bottom line though is that the engine doesn't know what name is on it and a lot of this tuning stuff will work on most all of them. ;-)

Welcome! It's good to have another Ford guy around here. Like almost everywhere else we're outnumbered here.

"Blue oval all the way...Hello"
Ummm, yeah. You're not gonna get a lot of response from that around here LOL.

So you told us what you tow with how about some info on what you're towing. As Barry said let's see some pics in the show your stuff section.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I've really enjoyed reading the tech. discussions here at MSV. That's the reason I joined. Fords for me but respect all brands and their contributions to the sport. Pictures forthcoming but here's the list:

'78 Futura Pro Street. 80's magazine car. 472BBF, ported iron heads, solid cam, Torker II with custom built 4150, custom exhaust front to back 3", rollerized C6, Merkyl style valve body, PTC 3500 9.5" converter, Morrison ladder bar set up with panhard bar, Detroit locker with 4.11 gears. Team Z tubular front end. 10 sec pump gas car. Runs mid sixes in the 1/8. Fun car. Crazy street car. Smokes the 16's at will. Even at 65 MPH. Very torquey. Did I mention I like big blocks?

'83 T'bird. Pro touring car. BBF can't give details because I haven't decided if the 466 is going back in or the new 545. AJE tubular front end, Lentech AOD, 3200 stall from Lentech, built 8.8 with Detroit locker and 3.55 gears. Custom 3" exhaust. Factory leather, pw, pdl, ps, pdb, a/c, etc... Really unique car. Very well done. Will be awesome when it's put back together(hopefully this summer). I'm doing most of the work myself so it goes kind of slow with family and all. Have the engine and trans. out right now.

Mustang details to follow. I think you will really like it a lot. Can't disclose right now. Trade in process for another 'stang that I think this group will like even more. Let's hope it happens. Thanks for the comments.

God bless,

Frank
