My name is Nick Smithberg, owner/operator of Smithberg Racing located in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska. I have been apart of an Engine Masters Challenge team for 3 years now - Team Hot Heads / Danny Miller (RIP) / Gene Adams. I was responsible for the idea of our interesting Induction design and for the refinement in 2011 & currently 2012. I enjoy the technical aspect of anything engine related so I hope to share and learn here. I recognize some familiar screen names so I thought I would stop by and see how things are over here.

Nick Welcome again to the forum. As you probably already know, we've got a couple of EMS guys here already. That and Adger Smith checks in here from time to time also. Hope you enjoy your time here. ;-)

Thanks for the heads up. All that EMS Pro stuff is above me LOL (I still like carbs =; )! I was more on the machining and porting side of the project induction wise - manifold to ram tubes, Dieselgeek is the EFI guru for us.

Welcome Nick, You're not too far from us Missourians. I'll probably race a few times up at Pacific Junction this year since they closed down KCIR.

Awesome! I don't get to race as much as I want (like most people) but when I do I have fun! Hopefully I can meet up with you when you go? I race my street car right now, car is a blast and is pretty quick considering what it is. Here is a little thread I just started on it over on Bangshift - http://www.bangshift.com/forum/showthread.php/32192-Bossman-s-66-Impala

I'm also one of the track sponsors there, been for 5 or 6 years now. Track is making improvements and glad we have it back this year after loosing it last year from all of the flooding - boy did that suck! ](*,)

Nice. Welcome. I used to be a member of that board when it was Junkyard junkies or something like that. My buddies in Calif helped them out when Frieberger entered 24 Lemons with the Fury. Didn't bother trying to get back on after the second name change. Some nice stuff there - I like the news and the Hot Wheels (mattel) thread.

Re: Island Raceway. Dang! I went there after work a few times around 1989-90. Had no idea it took such a hit since I'm not up there or know many folks who run there now.
