Hello all. Im a serious mud drag racer from Texas. My wife and I (and our kids) race just about every weekend, mostly in San Antonio and Bay City. We currently are running a 2800 pound truck with a near 1000 hp sb2 motor. Our personal records as of now is 3.456 ET at 76.1mph in 250 feet. I do all of my head and intake porting but I really need to get a better grasp of carburetors. This seems to be the place for that! :-$ And there doesnt seem to be any drama here like some sites. Im not a good trash talker and I dont get into pi$$ing contests. Now all I need is more time to post because my job is about to kill me! ](*,)

This economy and you're bitching about your job?? =; Just kidding! But hey, welcome to MSV..........again!

Oh, and I'll beat Barry to it, how's about posting some pics of that mudder down in the "Show Your Stuff" section.

Here's an article we did a few years back that might interest you as you're not the first mudder to join here. ;-)

Sorry axe, I just realized that link is to a sand racer? Well, it is a form of "dirt" though, isn't it? Just no water in it is all. =; We also got a couple of "pullers" here too.

But yeah, it it takes raw WFO HP to make it go, you're welcome here no matter what! =;

Well that didnt work real well. Anybody have problems reducing the size of a pic in photobucket? It was smaller until I posted it here. :-k I would rather not download any software if I can get photobucket to make them smaller.

This is the size of your picture.

Our board software is setup for pictures no larger than 800 x 600 pixels. I don't use phtobucket but there's a bunch here that do. Hopefully they will help you "git-r-dun"!

I wanna see a bigger picture of the truck. Theres no mud racing here in Australia that I know of. certainly none around my parts. I recon it would be fun. There is a group here that run cars called mudpluggers, there small and do racing around a track or do that English type trial stuff like what is done on motorcycles by trials riders, you know up, creeks and over rocks and difficult terrain. Other than that its offroad buggies.

I try to take care of business every week and bring all the power I can. Makin these trucks hook is the hard part! ](*,) Shrinker, with the droughts we've been having in Texas over the last 3 years, we might not have mud racing much longer! =P~ Hopefully we get out of this weather pattern soon. Here are some more pics.
