Hi,

My name is Scott Clark and I am mostly into practical EFI. I've tuned a number of engines mostly for drag racing or landspeed racing. I found this site from a sig on speedtalk.com forums and, after checking this place out, went through the approval gauntlet here so I could read what you all share here. Seems like a neat place!

thanks,
-Scott

Welcome to MSV Scott. Nice work too on the EMC with Dan & Gene.

You being from SW IA you aren't too far away from me here in NW MO.

I race occasionally at MAM by Council Bluffs.

Like Beretta mentioned, it use to be much harder to get in as for about the first 2 years we required full name, address and an evening phone number for membership. And I did make MANY phone calls verifying new members.

On average now only about 60% of those that sign up actually gain access to post and on any given day, we'll have more "Guests" on the site than members. If I had to make a living off the site then I'd probably be just like all the rest and have registration wide open for everyone but since NO ONE associated with the site makes a dime off it, numbers really don't matter.

Ennywho, welcome to the site and I hope you enjoy your time here.

It's pretty cool to see a few guys that live not to far from me. I'm between Carson, Oakland, and Treynor IA - I'm about 20 minutes from the Mid America Motorplex so, let me know if any of you guys are going to be racing there and I'll gladly introduce myself.

It's been a rough week for our Engine Masters team - some of you probably heard that our team captain, Danny MIller, passed of a heart attack earlier this week. We're planning a team meeting after the shock wears off (next week or two) and deciding if, and how, to move forward with the project, which is about 80% complete BUT has promised to be a real contender in the new Extreme class this year.

So anyways, thank you all for the warm welcome, and for sharing such great information on this small but effective site!

Hey, do you know Ed Loose?
I went to Council Bluffs last year for the first time and loved it! Will you be at the Geezer Race in August?
