Signing in and saying hi from the west coast. My name is Carl and I have a couple of old Ford's '67 mustang fastback(1st car) '66 Ford fairlane. Both have 351c 4bbl engines with toploaders. The Mustang is my street cruiser and the Fairlane I want to get a little more serious with. They are both registered and street driven now though. From reading some of the threads it's obvious you guys have done this rodeo before. Hopefully with some of your help I too will be able to hold on for 8 seconds one day! \:D/

Welcome again Carl. We've got a couple of Calif guys that belong here, mostly in So Cal though. Yup, there are some smart guys on here that may be able to help if you need any. Enjoy!

The gains I have made just since I found this site is crazy... it does tell me how much i didn't know though :-k .
The fuel threads alone have let me tune my carb so that instead of idleing at 2000 and still lean has saved me a Ton of money sooo thanks for that and I'm sure it will help me with every step from here out. I will post pics soon.

I remember when those cars were new. I really liked those Fairlanes. Brings back memories of good times. Welcome.

Me too. I thought maybe it's one of those deals where you have to be a logged in member to view.
