Hi everybody,
I am new to this forum! My pal Jody Smith introduced me to this site a couple years back, and I just rediscovered the email about it. I am a fan of all kinds of motoring. If it uses some type of combustion for motivation, I'm into it. I have a 65 Malibu with an aluminum headed 406 sbc, Edelbrock top end package, balanced Eagle rotating assy, 11.5:1 compression, 750 carb, long tube headers, Tremec 6 speed, 12 bolt posi with 3.73 gears. It is a mild street ride that runs 12's and gets 22 mpg. I have driven it on Hot Rod Power Tour for the last 6 years. Great fun, road trip with 3000 gearheads for 7 days! Also my work in progress, a 1967 Nova wagon, which I am converting into a 2 door sedan wagon. I cut up a 2 door sedan car, and used the doors and quarter panels to eliminate the unwanted back doors! It's a 350/TH350 right now, but the plan is for a 383 stroker and a muncie M21 after all the body work is done. I am one of those unlucky stiffs with a fair amount of skills but little cash, so my projects take a long time. I have been working on the Nova since September, and the Malibu took me 7 years. I also have a 69 GMC truck with a 355/5 speed for a daily driver. So, there is my newbie intro. I am looking forward to a lot of good tech and talk. I may even be able to share some of my 51 years worth of car experience somehow! Thanks guys!

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about!! Another "Semi-Old Fart" that likes go fast cars and stuff! (don't reach full "Old Fart" status until you're over 60 like me) =; And 10/4 on the more skills than money! I (and meny others here) resemble that remark! \:D/

If I can help ya out with some of that "cheap" stuff, lemmie know cuz I can definitely tell you some stuff that DOESN'T work! O:)

Oh, and welcome..........again! ;-)

Pics, we need pics. Start a thread in the "Show Your Stuff" section if you got pics of building that 2 door wagon!

You see this Steve? You and Jake got competition now!! ;-)
