Hi everyone, I am a newbie here and figured I should make a post to introduce myself.

I am a motorhead and dragracer at heart. I currently race a 72 Nova in a Heads Up All Motor class called Pro Stock in the OSCA series up here in Ontario Canada. - http://www.raceosca.com

My father and I are definite do-it-yourselfers when it comes to all of the work and tuning of the car. As a DIY'er it is crazy the amount you are forced to learn in order to do things the right way. Forums like this are a great way to learn and express your opinion with other folks that enjoy working on their own junk. I definitely have a lot to learn and I think I have some knowledge and experiences to share as well!

Take care,
Matt

Welcome. There is certainly a great amount of satisfaction in doing the fabrication, assembly, tuning, etc yourself. DIY is how hot rodding started and is a great part of the tradition.
