Hey gang! Greetings from Las Vegas, NV.

This looks like a great forum and look forward to learning from you guys. Thanks Ken for letting me in!

I've been around racing all my life and currently own a 1997 Yancer Hardtail dragster. I purchased the car turnkey three years ago. It had a 468 BBC in it and I have run a best of 8.576 at 158 mph with it. Earlier this year I spun a rod bearing and I am in the process of saving my money for a 555 short block. I plan to use my current heads, intake and carb with it.

I don't have tons of mechanical experience, but I am learning more and more everyday.

Thanks again for letting me into your forum!!

Welcome Tony, hope you enjoy! BTW folks, Tony is in law enforcement so watch it! O:) =; Just kidding! \:D/

Typically weekends are slow as many of our folks are out racing. Things will pickup early in the week once they are back to work.

Nah Tony, you won't find anything illegal here, at least nothing that I'm aware of. Just a bunch of good guys that love going fast, or as it is with our "senior racers", some who enjoy helping others go fast. Me, I'm 63 and going faster now than I ever have, and I love it! \:D/

I know Charlie also....he moved to Florida recently....another great guy!! I don't know Alfred as well. If your at the PSCA races here....I'm sure to bump into you sometime!

I have only ran one of the PSCA races, but I normally hang out with my buddy John Phlegar (flourescent orange corvette roadster). Here is a pic of one of our races here in Vegas before I re-painted my car.

Barry,
They are the World Products Merlin 345cc iron heads. The future plan is to get some Darts or Brodix $$$$$$. =;

The great thing that intrigued me about this forum is the honesty and helpfulness of it's members.....so I appreciate any input.

I'm interested in the 3 to 2 Circuit conversion...but I am still trying to figure out which dominator I have....the only part number I can find on it is 12r-8795b. I can't find any other numbers such as 8896 or 8082? Any help on where to look? ](*,)
