Just saying hey on one of my first visits to this site. Great site, BTW!!
I race at the Sikeston, Mo. 1/8 mi. track and at the Benton, Il. 1/8 mi. track when time and funds allow. My vehicle of choice is a '66 Chevy 1/2 ton LWB truck. Right now, it has an AFR-headed, roller-cammed, pump gas 434 sbc that I recently bought an 8082 HP dominator to try on. I'm currently running an HP 1000 4150 carb and want to see if the dominator will pick it up any. Ironically enough, I stumbled onto this site while looking online for some dominator info.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to spending some time here, as there seems to be a lot of good info on this site!
Take care guys!

Thanks for the welcome guys!
I'm not the most computer-literate dude around, but I'll see if I can get some pics of it on here.
Thanks again for the warm welcome!

Welcome. One of the cool things about this site is that there is not only great racing info but you also get some great computer advice as well on here. If you cant figure out how to do something dont be afraid to ask. There are some very computer savvy guys on here. Not me of course! The first thing you need to learn is how to post pics. Someone will be along to give advice soon I am sure. We love pics.

Speaking of posting pics, since getting photos hosted on the internet seems to be the bigest obsticle in pic posting, I guess someone with experience using Photobucket or one of the other online hosting sites needs to post a "how to" for "Newbies" since this seems to be something that a lot of people don't know how to do. I would write it but I don't use that service and don't have a clue as to how it works. The forum software is pretty user friendly as far as linking to the pics goes but the hosting part is where the hangup is.

Any takers?

Oh, and welcome............AGAIN! ;-)

Thanks again guys!
Ken, I actually have a Photobucket account with some pics of the truck. Now, it's been a good while since I tried transferring the pics from P.B. to another site. Let me fool around with that account again and see if I can send some pics in here. :-k
Thanks again to all of you guys for making this site what it is!! =D>

Well if you already have pics hosted on PB then that's the major part right there.

You will need to copy the link to the pic that is in your browser address bar then put it in your post with the following "tags" at each end.

goes at the end with no spaces between those "tags" and your PB pic link.

So your complete link will look kinda like this

So now you can post those pics down in the "Show Your Stuff" forum so we can see'em! ;-)

Oh,I forgot to mention this but each pic link should be in a line by itself, and, I usually skip a line between'em. I edited your post and fixed the one pic that was horked up. Here is how those pic links should look. ;-)
