hi folks. my name is gary nicholson. im 45 years old. i work in aviation and ive been drag racing since 86. i have a 70 ss chevelle i run in nhra s/st and brackets won a best eng. award with it this year at a div 5 race. tuner always refers mw here so thought i would join. ill try to keep the moronic comments to a minimum \:D/

i work for american airlines. started with twa in 86 until 01 when aa bought them. right now doing engine work on a 767

thanks, its not quite as fast as yours. best et with the 468 was 9.69 @ 135. its getting 498 this winter maybe pick up a few tenths and  some mph

yes, i race at kcir and go to three or 4 div 5 races a year plus some of the other bracket races in the area. have i seen you there?

No I dont race at kcir no more one jeff is a a$$ wipe two the new owner wont have any 1/8 mile races.but I still know a lot of people that does..

Welcome. Div 5 races? Do you make it to Tri State in Earlville Iowa. That my home track. They do a great Divisional race in September.

I see George hasn't answered this so I'll put a bug in yur ear.  He used to fly those "BiG BOYZ" for US Airways before he had to take medical retirement.  

There is a pic of him looking out the window of one of'em and also one of him and his wife in the article we did on his Camaro as Car Of The Month back a year or so ago.  So you two have something in common.  He used to fly them and you work on'em.  ;-)
