Drag Chevette here....aka Mark Sullens

as my name implies I race a Chevette,
Started racing in 1989 where I won the first race I entered, running the Chevette at a lightning speed or 21@60,  and have been spending money trying to go fast ever since.
we now run the same N/A E85 powered Chevette which has a 355 that has produced us a best ET of 9.86@137mph, 1.27 60'
I have been playing with cars as long as i can remember, rebuilt my first working carb when I was 9 years old, 32 years ago!
Built my first working engine when I was 16.
Built my tube chassis Chevette 3 years ago.

I strive to find the things I cant see, and ways to improve the things I can.

thanks for letting me be a part of this forum.

Welcome to MSV Mark.  There's lots of info here and also many questions from other members.  Feel free to chime in when the topic suits you.  There has been some discussion on the E85 fuel but nothing in depth.  There are several of us here that run methanol though.

Chevette?  I've owned four of those in my lifetime.  Had an 84 that I bought new and sold two years later.  Then got an 79 that I drove until a 16 year old girl decided she didn't like it and totaled it for me (I was driving).  Then I got an 81 and drove that for a couple of years before letting my then step son have it.  And when my Mom died in 1998 I got her 84 with 58k actual miles on it in the property settlement.  I finally sold that car last spring for $1000 to a guy for his 16 year old step daughter.  Yup, they were pretty good cars for the money as the 84 I bought new was $4800 turn key!  Try that today, hey!  ;-)

Anywho, enjoy yourself while you're here!

Ken
