Hello,

I've seen several familiar screen names on here so thought I would check it out.

I've got a stock style suspension - 10.5" tire -  '71 Chevelle with a 445 cu in SBC.  Mostly just a toy that I have fun with at the track, but bracket race some as well too.  It's too slow to do much else with! :)

Thanks guys!

I used to put about 200+ laps on the car a year bracket racing in No E around TX.  Got married and then had a kid a few years ago and now I just tinker and get the car out when I can.  I spent most of last year trying to get the car to hook with the new 445 SBC.

I primarily run 1/8th mile in North Texas - North Star Dragway, Redline Raceway, and Texas Raceway.

I don't have any recent pics of the car, but here are a couple of pictures of the engine right after installing it.

It has run a best of 6.36 @ 107.9 MPH with a very soft 1.43 - 60'

The converter has never been right (tight) and I pulled too much gear out of it in anticipation of running some 1/4 mile passes.  I'll get both of those issues resolved this year and see what it really has in it.
