Hello, I have been browsing the board for the last few days and would like to say that it seems to be a good tech site.   I`m a sportsman racer in local classes but mostly run for fun.   I`m always improving or upgrading the machine and always seek the knowledge of those who have already covered that same ground.     I run a 3700 # race wieght 85 camaro.  It`s powered by a 496, merlin head, with a plate system..th 350 / 9inch ford.   I originally joined the site seeking info for upgrading the heads on this motor, best so far on nuts has been 10.23 / 134 and 9.80 / 143 on the sneeze (125)   I`ll make a post on head suggestions when I get closer to having enough green to buy them.    I look forward to being a member!!

Yeah, we got a few pig block guys  ;-)  on here and a couple of head porters as well.  When you post a question on head work it may take a day or so for one of'em to answer so be patient.

Oh, and welcome to the board!
