hey all,

happy to be part of the membership ranks.
we have just received our monster 18 degree heads
from curtis and the team at RFD. looking forward to
the great tech available here . i  will try to use the search function
and not ask questions that surely have been covered before.............
then again, my dad always said, dont be afraid to ask questions.
he also told me to keep my mouth shut.............hehehehehehe ;-)

Welcome to MSV Jerome.  If you have Curtis doing your heads you already have a leg up on most of your competition!

Welcome to the board. Seems like there are a lot of guys finding out about the Curtis secret. That's good, unless you have to compete against them.

thanks everybody,

heads are going on a 414 small chevy. its an ongoing father &  son  project. dont race any particular sanctioned body. our challenge is to
challenge ourselves. just having some serious fun building some serious
stuff.  this latest deal is a ground up all new deal. our last project was also.
dart block,je/crower,callies,etc...................if it aint broke you bought the right parts............. is our thinking. ;-)

would really like to do a 427  :-k ..............but im thinking all of curtis's work would go out the window by changing the displacement at this point.  [-X  he and i did discuss early on, the good and bad of doing it. [-X

just to clarify.....im the old man (jerome) jeremy is the son..... it is my dad, that told me to keep my trap shut  :-#  ;-)

any way happy to be here

ok...ok......... not as serious as you you gents are doing, i presume.......
but we understand the importance of good parts. though, we do not have an unlimited budget. ....................pics of car or pics of ????.

car is an 85 monte ss. dont get me wrong we dont claim to be the all knowing type. but, i do know one thing, if you talk with the right people, and respect what they have done and know.............
there is plenty to be learned, and friends to be made.

thanks
jerome
