I just registered here, but to tell you honestly,I have no idea how this site popped up on my computer. I was sorta concerned because I was afraid it was some porn site or knitting help site at first. =; But, upon looking around, I found it has all kinds of racing and car threads,so that can't be all bad! I normally keep on Racing Junk forum as well as V8 Buick and the Buick performance Group,so I was surprised this was here. Now my problem is I will have to checkout more websites about cars. =; I currentyl have a 70 Skylark 462 racecar I am building as well as a 1973 GS350 4 speed car which is getting a new motor this week (after an engine bay cleaning) as well as a 1986 Century GS. I was hoping to be racing my 70,but I have to get a couple things done to other cars first. I plan to race starting next spring if all goes well and can't wait to get back in the game to have some fun.For anyone interested in my project, it can be seem here, Still have alot to do,but its finally getting there.

Pat,

Welcome to MSV.  I think you will enjoy it here.  We have a bunch of great guys that are always willing to help whenever they can.

I am interested in your comment about the site popping up on your computer though.  Did you get something via email or through a search engine.  How did it "pop up"?

George

I am not really positive as how I located you. Maybe I linked it from a RJ members thread. I logged off last night, but must have not seen it till I logged on later in the evening. Either way,I have been reading some great stuff on here.I am not the best on the computer though..Thanks for the welcome.

Pat glad you could join us.

I'm somewhat of a Buick fan though I've never owned one.  We have a guy here locally that has an all original 68 Buick GS and that thing is awesome.

I come from that era as I had a 68 Olds 442 with the W-30 factory option that was a ground stomper back then also.  I do wish I had that car back as it was a rare car with the UHV Capacitive Discharge Ignition system just like the one that came on the L88 Vettes.

Anywho, welcome to the board, enjoy!

Welcome to the site. I grew up with a buddy that was a Buick nut. He started off with a 39 4 door sedan straight eight. Not fast but a fun car. then he got a 40 ford truck with a nail head that was constantly broke. In early 64 he got a Skylark with a 401 with a 4 speed in it, and it was bad fast for the day and a ball to drive.
