Well I picked up the first W of 2012 tonight. Car ran between 10.416-10.418 in 6 passes. Only round different was 1st went a 10.408.
Ken I need to look at logs tomorrow to see if pressure increase helped. Went to 6.5 psi.

Awesome job AJ! Sounds like you've got the car dialed in so I'm sure this will be the first of many.
I finally fired my car on E85 for the first time today. I think I have a bad rear float so I'll needed to get that fixed and tune the idle a bit, but hopefully I'll finally be at, the track in 2-3 weeks. I'm looking forward to getting the dragster back on track for the first time in nearly 2 years.

If these N/Ss are SS then you might want to lap them if the float or "O" ring aren't the problem. FYI Barry was waiting on Mark for a tuneup for his 1250 so maybe you two can get your heads together with Bruce and do some "long distance" testing. Barry already has the parts he needs, he just needs the calibration to complete it.

Ken - your right, it might be the N&S because I changed the float and am still getting a much higher level than needed. It is a .150 stainless version, what process do I use to lap them?
Barry already reached out to me. I'll be sending him the info on my combo and the base set-up's I've gathered from info I've seem from others over the past 12-18 months.
Mark

Mark, I use an abrasive cleaner like Comet or Ajax with some WD-40 and lap them with that. Seems to work well and I believe that Eric68 started doing that also. Barry, IMHO the .140s "should" be large enough.

Bruce, I think the .140's will be fine. I'm going to order some BLP viton .140's just to have them, but will clean mine up as Ken indicted.

Yeah the 140s will be enough. That's what I ran in the 1250s I did last year for my engine builder. 9.0 hemi car and a 940 hemi car. Had enough fuel.
I also picked uP the W again tonight in modified. 2 for 2 with one to go tomorrow.
Feel free to give me a call to talk about any of the tuneups I have. You are welcome to the sheets.

Are ya sure you can run viton with ethanol? Because you CAN'T run viton with methanol.
