Don't know if the foam is a problem with Ethanol but I have read somewhere that it won't work with Methanol so I remove it from mine. Since it's a small cell I'd just take it out regardless.

It all depends on the foam makeup. I have been running it in my RCI cell for 4 years with no issues. I started running my sisters car on E85 this year and the foam in her cell (a year old RCI) and the foam broke apart quickly. The safest thing to do is remove the foam. However if you want to leave it in I would do a test and cut a small piece of it out of the cell place in a cup with E 85 and let it sit for a week and then check it.
