After we sold the Malibu Wagon where my son was racing with we now have my daughter racing a '75 Oldsmobile Cutlass with a 4 bolt 355 Chevy and TH350 on LPG and Nitrous. 12.96 and 107.5 on the 1/4 mile so far.

Greetings from the other side of the ocean.

Hummmm, can't get that video to play? Anyone else?

LPG is something I've always wondered about as I'd seen an NHRA Super Gas car a few years back that ran that stuff. Major problems are the lack of viable hardware for the application plus the weight of that high pressure propane tank and associated hardware.

But from what I've read you can run some really high compression ratios with it though. :-k

@ Ken0069
Yes that's Pinkerd (my nickname after being the member of a Pink Panther bike dragrace team) next to the Olds. And there are plenty of American Muscle cars in Europe and also in The Netherlands. We bought the Olds in England as a roller and already stripped down.

Not easy to to read for you guys but take a look at: http://amerikaanseautopagina.com/forum/index.php and specialy the "projekten forum" . A lot of us are trying to keep the American cars alive and running.

That 1955 chop top Studebaker of mine would look good there in Holland pinkard!! ;-) Talk about a rare car! And a full tilt street legal race car at that, at least here in Virginia, USA.

That car as been 10.19 @ 134 on pump gas in DOT street trim here @ Rockingham's Super Chevy meet back in 1999. I've put some miles on that car here in the county in the pas few months, terrorizing the farmers in the area!! =; BTW, I live out in a rural area on a 10 acre track of land that is in mostly farm country. Guys that are into farm tractors aren't really into 10 second drag cars! ;-) But then again, guys that are into 10 second street cars aren't into farm tractors either unless you're a "puller"!

Ennywho, glad to see that old USA muscle cars are alive and well there in Holland. Keep up the good work!

Oh, and some details on that LPG fuel system would be good up int he "Fuel Systems" section as I'm interested in how you did that and with what.
