Looking good Doug!! You got something you can work with there for sure!! I'm assuming that's a 4 link because of the aiti-roll bar above the housing. Those are not needed with ladder bar cars.

So what engine do we have for this thing? :-k

Say, I guess we can't call ya alteredoug any more though, can we? How about Novadoug! =;

I like it! =;

What are you putting in it and what do you expect to run?

I always liked those Novas. A friend of mine had a new '69 or '70 with a 396. Lots of street racing back then. I would love to have one now for a daily driver.

When my altered went to crossed the border it didnt have all the parts. I kept the motor and trans...:) So it will have a 540bbc with around 850 900hp on alky.. Best had altered was 5.19 at 130 if I remeber right and it weighed right at 2100 lbs , with a glide. . So I would think this all steel except hood should run in the 5.80's. I am thinking it weighs around 3000-3100. All floor pans are original, windows all complete, steel bumpers. Yup it is a 4 link car. Guy who I traded wanted a 33" tire and cut the quarter lips.........wow...I would've got new rims since there is 4" between tire and frame. This will cost me 1700 to repair and is currently at the body shop. Did get it 'cert for it last weekend and good for 8.50. Doubt if I can get it down to that N/A

just a little progress. It is alot harder to spend time on it ilke I want. But family comes first. It's been a slow summer for overtime and got a few breaks when I sold the mechaical injection for the new one. Just about ready to fire it up. Have some wiring to correct, boy was it a mess. Did get the rear quarters fixed and that what cost me so much time and money, but she looks great. Computer crashed and just haven't tried to recover those pics. I am going to try and get it out once or twice before winter to see how everything works, then tear apart and get new convertor, has same converter my altered had. 5500.
