So the magazine is finally coming out. I've been trying to figure out a way to fit the pics in here so you could still read them. A PM from Ken got me thinking. The first pic/article is just where they used my engine, the next six pages are the "article" on the car. Read it all and you'll see a little surprise. Enjoy! Jeff

i cannot believe you thought enough of this little forum to menton us in a national publication. i am in shock. thanks man...mel

No, thank you guys! First of all for letting me in and hang out with a bunch of racers. Secondly for letting me suck the knowledge out of your brains. Doing all the work is one thing, but the most important part was the fact that I didn't pay anyone else to tune it! I guess you have to hang out at a show or two to realize most, if not all, of these guys have no clue how their engines work (or their cars), so to be able to say "ya, I tuned it myself" makes me the proudest. Having gained knowledge from you guys motivates me even more to want to pass along what I know to others. Heck, last week I taught a buddy how to install disc brakes / master cylinder and bleed the whole system. He would never have done it on his own, but now he says "hey, that wasn't so bad." No foolin, I feel the same way about carburetors now.

I sincerley hope that the article recruits some new members so we can show more people how a real forum should work.

And again, thanks!

Jeff

There is a lot of pride in doing it yourself.

Thats the best thing about gaining knowledge is sharing it with others. And there is so much to information offered in these Forums.
