Hello
I am not working yet and got into a bit of trouble at home for working on the car so much, so I had to drop it for a while
The videos are from last weekend, I tried the car outside and drove it around a bit. I had a few small problems, one being oil on the header from a leaky valve cover, but all in all it was ok
I set the DNA mufflers on and although it took out the header sharp bite, it is still really loud. The video does not show it, but you would have to yell inside the car for the person to hear you in the passenger side
Money is tight here due to lack of work, so I will just be trying it out at the track next spring and maybe once again in the summer.

take care

Tom I love that car \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ The mufflers give it a good rumble. It's kind of hard to tell until you get going down the road or track how they really are.

Thanks guys for the comments. It may seem dumb, but just driving it in the laneway is a big thing for me. At least I can say I drove it this year lol
I do have a few things to sort out, but nothing major that I can see. I need to get dyna mat to put everywhere inside the car and I was told it will be quieter as you drive down the road.. Lots of little thing to do yet, but I had to stop on it for a while to get caught up with other things I have neglected on the house and yard

take care
Tom

Good to see the progress Tom. I know what you mean about neglecting the other things we know we have to do. I have raced a lot less this year than what I normally do but it still seems there's a list of stuff to do. I might get the pool closed down this weekend......

Thanks again for the comments. I have fixed the small things on the car this week and found a set of used spiral inserts that will slip into the exhaust. They are in very good shape and not much use, but the fellow had to go to mufflers due to local by laws at the track (Oregon)
I have to reposition the mufflers, but I can get them inline with the DNA's and combined I think it will be quiet enough for the street. Ontario Canada is getting bad for street racing laws and noise is usually the number one thing they go after, other than speeding
As of Jan 2010 all leaded fuels are banned from the racetracks and they are going to be checking everyone coming into the track (MTO) Things are getting stupid, really fast up here
take care
Tom
