here is how it looked for the shakeddown...after shaking out my underwear ..! O:)

i shook the vette down in May.i could not get a clean pass due to rear tires breaking lose. i thought since i had rented the track there was just No groove etc..i did notice my break pressure was dropping slighly as the day wore one. after checking the car carefully i decided to give it a good 60ft hit  leaving at 3500 on the brake..i ran a 1.14 60ft carried almost thru the 330ft mark before the tires let go..got into the brakes and it sprayed brake fluid all under the car..i blew out the front right brake caliper seal.

so i never got a full pass...the hight light of the day was a 1.14 60ft...leaving soft (3500rpm) motor wold have liked (5,000/5,500)...
2nd highlight was the 1st time i ever sat in the car i just rolled out of the lights from idle..just cracked throttle and lifted before traps and still ran 131 mph at 5.52 et....( this was checking nut and bolts on the car)

so over all the car did well . the driver got a tune up as well.

i am back on my 67 camaro with a new PAR 565CI..Its more my style and A-LOT more forgiving on all corners...the vette is now Running in Canada.

thanks Brian

Brian, I had noticed the dates on the pictures, but figured it was like mine ... off by  few months.

So I take it that since it is in Canada racing now  that you sold it ??

yes i sold the car last week. to some guys in Canada..with my current lifstyle with family etc...it was better off for me to stay with a less maintenance car like my 67 camaro with  the 565ci..its plenty for me.
