He will have to fill us in on the details of the engine, etc.  I did have an opportunity to see the trunk lid last winter as when I met him for lunch down in Charlotte, Nc he brought that with him so I could see the colors and the art work.  The emblem on the front end is hand done as is one just like it on the trunk lid.  And that paint is metal flake and is beautiful!!!  It looks like it's about an inch deep!

That is going to be a really quick ride. Brian must be very proud of it
I look forward to hearing the details

That engine was built by a member of the Azz family.  I think his name is Whoop.

LOL..YOU GUYS CRACK ME UP !!!!! =D>

Yes  its an all aluminum 632 Donovan block, 14 degree Pontiac Big chief heads, all jessel valve train, sonny bryant 4.75 crank, crower titanimum rods, JE Pistons. weaver brothers 4 stage dry sump, EPD sheet metal intake with a pair of Chuck Nuggtens 1200 dominaters, lunati CAM .802/.812  328/358...115 Lobe seperation..motor dynoed 1200hp at 7600rpm and just a tad over 1,000 ft lbs of TQ.....It had 2 stages on it but i took the plates off..i will run all motor...a 200/250 shot thru the fogger is possible on down the line..after my butt catches up to my thoughts..or should that be the other way around.. :-k

the car is a moly, strut, 4 link suspension car, with a fabbed 9 inch reaer 40 splined gun drilled axles and a 4.30 pro gear...

the car weighed 2200 with a iron block 598 with a 240lb driver...

my motor should weigh 75 to 100 lighter and i am only 220lbs..so it should weigh out somwhere in the 2100 lbs (wet) or a little lighter possibly.

the paint was done by Greg Porter.."PORTERS CUSTOMS'...its a candy red metal flake with hand painted graphics..'not an airbrush"....

the insulater pan was custom made and fastens to the front and back of intake and the hood horshoes around and fastens to the front end....i have over 40 hours in the insulator pan fab work..whewwww!!! :-#  :-# ....

all the BIG STUFF i have left is the tranny  and flush the fuel system.(holding breath on that one)...i have already got the converter made......

I spoke with Ken tonight and he told me the car was posted..he gave me round the bush about the dust on the car..he said i need to take some lessons from margerita man...LOL...I SWEAR the dust didn't show until the flash of the camera...now i am embarrased....LOL 8-[  8-[ ..

I hope to have it all done and ready to run by early Fall..i am real close..i plan to attend a IHRA track that holds a fall/ winter "run what ya brung ' 4.70 heads up class..anything goes but lenco's and bruno's...but 1st i need some seat time.... O:)  O:) ..

thanks for all the compliments guys...its good to see everyone is doing well...i guess its time to go wash the car.... 8-[

Brian..."juice"

hey Brian

that sure is one kick arse ride

looks awsome

i had a 63 Roadster a few years back but was only a Sunday car, if it looked anything like your's i would still have it

i love the early vetts as they have style about the, the latter cars dont do it for me

regards
rod
