It ran that off the trailer. He was deadly consistent last night. He ran a 7.93, 7.94, 7.93 and then ran a 7.98 peddling.  He had a 12 second car for that run and thought he had the other car covered. He told me "I think I might have let off too much".  There was a 30 mph difference (Greg was going about 84 mph)  in those cars and it's a little harder to judge.  We were still running 15w30 non synthetic oil for break in. Next race we will have the synthetic in it and I think there will be a little et in that alone. We have a bigger carb we may try next week too.

great job Chuck and Greg.  \:D/  \:D/  In that kind of heat hit ran well. Pretty soon he will be faster than us. It sounds like he got it dialed in good to. So did he win?? :-s

This always looked like a fun thing to do with grand kids. Do they have a speed limit on them?

No, he went out in the 2nd round when he lifted,  I think it was another 5.93 run which is what he was dialed on.

Yes there are limits. It depends on the kids age I think it's  8 & 9 year olds 12.90 or slower,
10, 11 & 12 year olds 8.90 or slower,  13 -17 year olds 7.90 or slower. I think the mph limit is 85.  They have an outlaw class that just runs 330' with a limit of 4.10.

Hey Chuck that thing is flying!! You can tell Greg he is lucky to get to run that fast I seen someone run 7.70 last night and they told him to slow it to 7.90 or he would be disqualified. I have seen them run quicker than that before at H-Burg but didn't know the Rule..Is that right?

Steve has vid of the 1st pass we made saturday, it was a 7.79. We'll have to wait for him to post that one.

I didn't mention that Jason was our vid guy this weekend  :-$  so if there are any critisisms of the taping he gets the credit.

Yeah Rod he's been buggin' me about driving it so I guess we'll see how that pans out.

Jody, the jr rules are set by NHRA and us60 wasn't sanctioned. They were aware of those rules but they didn't have to enforce them.  In fact they had a couple of jr only races that brought jr's from all over because they could run all out.
