OK so this isn't my car it's my boy's Jr. we are working the bugs outta the new combination. I had to rebuild the motor last week. This clip he runs an 8.04 and he wants a 7 so bad he can't stand it. The pass he made after this was a 8.004. The motor is definitely running a lot better now but I don't think the ring is seated yet. I told him next pass for sure I feel you'll run a 7. Then there was the dragster crash and they canceled the race. I slowed the clip down after he stages and you can watch the tree come down. This was his 1st pass of the day (and on the new motor) and you can tell he is already on the tree.

Dang Chuck, Greg is almost as fast as the wagon #-o I bet he gets in that 7 sec range quicker than you think. I saw he was 6th in points. I love that slow motion on the light. \:D/ \:D/

They have come a long way with the performance of these things and NOTHING you know about a big car applies to these. The tune up is pretty much how we bought the motor. there is still some changes to the clutch we need to make but I think we'll have to break it in 1st

When you think about it this thing is quicker through the 1/8 than most of your average factory performance cars, including Corvettes and Mustang GTs. I didn't know they had updated the points on 60's site. He missed a race because of this motor problem so that put him at least 10 points behind. If he would have just showed up and staged for 1st round he would be tied for 3rd at least and he has been on the tree so I think he would've done better than that. We'll see friday.

would believe they canceled the race due to the weather? We had a forecast that indicated possible severe weather including hail. It's gettin' pretty old too. Out of 10 races scheduled for this year we have competed at 2. Weather got 6 of them, a dragster crash got 1 and there was 1 we didn't go to because of a personal tragedy. I think I might go to beechbend tomorrow. Eddy can't go, so I'll have to find someone to go to help.

I don't know what kevin's deal is. I know he caught a lot of flack over the mild street fiasco but that happened after last friday was canceled. I saw on 60's site where he permanently canceled t&t. Maybe it's because of that broken leg. I haven't been able to access 60's site all day and it was sporadic the last couple of days.

Yeah kevin got really side trcked with the broken leg and ankle. Jody got the last of the fuel sat night. luckly we had just enought to finish the night on. So if you run friday bring some fuel or call ahead. They have had problems with the site where people can't log on or register so maybe they are fixing it. As for T&T I think the cost of the track compared to car count caused that.
