this 71 nova we got awhile back we traded the alter for we had it on the track once it ran 10.15 at 137mph with 145.60ft .it has a 427 bbc alum rods chevy alum heads roller cam belt drive it ran pretty good for the firsImage

i hope so barry it will be time to start before long and iv almost got it ready to fire up im gonna try to get tray over and shoot some vid that should get him back on track again.

did you have a set built and coated that was one thing i did get with the bird headers and borla mufflers just got coated boy they look good .

yes it is a 427 ci with alum rods and a big roller cam belt drive alot of good parts . hope to make it to the track alot this year . we want to change a few things to see just how fast it will go . thanks guys for looking

be careful with those aluminum rods as they have a cycle life!!

be careful with those aluminum rods as they have a cycle life!!

how many runs do you get on the rods ?/ we shift it at 7.500 rpm went 7.300 at the traps in 1/4 mi .it stock stroke gas port pistons .i dont think it has a lot of runs on it ? we might take apart and look at what do you think ??? thanks aj

As far as i know you can't check them for cracks...

have a friend that runs them in a small block and tosses them before 300 runs as he had one brake after 320 runs.... [-( [-(
